What are aligners?
Aligners are virtually invisible and removable devices that align teeth by applying gentle pressure to guide them into the correct position. They are made of biocompatible material, are very thin and transparent, and are produced individually for each patient based on the treatment plan.

Treatment process
1. Consultation and diagnostics
During the first visit, the doctor collects information about the patient's current condition and performs the necessary diagnostics to draw up a treatment plan.
2. Treatment plan discussion and presentation
During this visit, the doctor explains the treatment plan, answers questions, and shows the final result through the software.
3. Start and course of treatment
The doctor fixes the necessary "buttons" (attachments) to the patient's teeth and hands over the first aligners. Follow-up visits are at least every 3-4 months. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the case, usually lasting 6-20 months, although changes are visible right from the start.
4. End of treatment and retention
Once the desired bite is achieved, the doctor will offer various retention options to prevent the teeth from shifting back. This ensures that the new smile will last.

We perform aligner treatment in cooperation with our clinic partner, orthodontist Dr. Dmitri Somov, SupOrtho Hambaravi OÜ. Orthodontic treatment with aligners at our clinic is not covered by the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.
